We stayed two nights on beautiful Lake James in NC. The campground was only a couple miles from Lad’s stepdad, Rebel, so we had a very nice visit.
Foliage season is in peak here in NC. It is nothing like Vermont, but it has a different kind of beauty – more soft and muted.
Rebel and his roommate Patricia took us on a driving tour around the lake where we saw many gorgeous multimillion-dollar homes.
