We arrived back in Bouse late Wednesday afternoon expecting to boondock at the RV park until the 1st when they were going to move our camper onto our spot. However, to our delight they were moving it as we pulled in! After getting it all level and hooked up to utilities, we spent our first night in our “Bouse House.”
Over the past couple days, we’ve been organizing things inside and picking up supplies. Thursday night we were invited by another couple to go play darts at the American Legion and had a blast! Fun company and the prizes were meat! We both came home with a couple frozen hamburger patties.
Yesterday there was a swap meet in town where we got some vegetables and a pocket knife for Lad. Two avocados, two heads of broccoli, two bananas and a container of raspberries for $7! I also picked up some local honey for $12. It’s great to support local farmers!
We had the camper washed and hand waxed by a mobile washing company. Thank goodness for my very limited Spanish to communicate with the workers. They applied a special wax that helps protects from UV rays. They did an awesome job and were tipped well. It is wonderful to support the services of such hard working and kind people in our community.
We also received our AZ trailer plates at our post office box and checked out the thrift shop for a few kitchen items we needed.
